Immuneed AB, a Swedish biotech company, announced today that the company premises are moving from Dag Hammarskjölds väg 13 to Uppsala Science Park at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 10. Strategic relocation is an important step for the company’s continued growth and development in the field of immuno-service. Immuneed’s new facilities are located in the heart of Uppsala’s rapidly developing pharma and biotech community.
Immuneed offers analytical services to the pharma industry based upon its unique blood-loop assay. This method uses fresh, circulating blood with all blood components intact in order to generate clinically relevant data for better understanding of first-in-man infusion reactions to biopharmaceuticals, prior to clinical trial entry.
Immuneed’s new, expanded facilities will also strengthen the existing partnership between Immuneed and Clinical Trial Consultants AB (CTC), which will be co-located in the building. Over the last two years, Immuneed and CTC Clinical Trial Consultants AB have had a strong partnership. CTC is a full service CRO with main focus on early clinical trials. The collaboration provides an opportunity for a candidate drug to be screened either for safety (cytokine release assessment and complement activity) and/or mode-of-action in a study conducted at a CTC clinic. “We are happy to announce that we are moving together with CTC to Oscar II, further strengthening our alliance”, say Charlotte Leife, CEO at Immuneed.
The new offices are located in Oscar II, a building that was finished in 1901 as one of the Royal Upplands artillery regiment’s premises.
